Return of outdoor theatre for more Littleport family fun

Cannon Kirk sponsors second live performance with The Library Presents

More fun is set to be had for families in Littleport this summer with the return of the popular live outdoor theatre.

Award-winning theatre company, Story Pocket Theatre, will soon be bringing their clowning, slapstick and magical storytelling to the community as part of a series of shows being run by The Library Presents.

Children aged three and over (along with their families) are being invited to join in the fun of the live show being performed in Yeomans Field, Barley Way in Littleport on Thursday, 3rd June.

Storyteller, Storyteller is about two storytellers who go head-to-head in a high-energy battle for laughs – and will be bringing everything from high-wire antics to swimming, a test of strength and even a tennis feature to the 45-minute show.

The event is sponsored by homebuilder Cannon Kirk and run by The Library Presents, it follows on from a popular puppet show held in October last year.

Nathan Jones, The Library Presents Co-ordinator, said they were delighted to be able to bring back the event and bring some smiles into the community.

Mandy Lott, sales manager for Cannon Kirk Homes added: “We are proud to be able to help sponsor this event again this year as last year was a huge success and we had loads of positive feedback.

“Littleport really is about families and community, and we hope that this live theatre will help us all feel that again after we have had such a tough few months, so we are looking forward to seeing many of you there,” she added.

Tickets cost from £3 and show times are at 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
