Couple follow footsteps of parents to purchase first Cannon Kirk Home

A high-flying couple have just received the keys to their first Cannon Kirk home – after following in the footsteps of their parents who bought on the same development, 15 years ago!

James Corbett and his partner Emily Randall have spent the last few days unpacking boxes and making their new Cannon Kirk house a home.

The couple bought the four bed Cedar style home at Lowfields Crescent, Highfields near Littleport, Cambridgeshire, having fallen in love with the development when James’ parents moved there during Phase 1 of the build, 15 years ago.

James, who works for a large American software consultancy, said: “We just love being here and have spent the last week or so unpacking and building furniture, and we are so happy already. We had been counting the days until we got our keys since we exchanged in May.”

Emily, who works for her parents candle supply business, based in Kings Lynn, added: “The date we were given to collect the keys and move in was the same day James was told he could pick up his new car that was ordered in January – and exactly one year to the day before we could get married, so we were very excited.”

The couple will be getting married in 2022 and said the moment they saw their home, they fell in love with it right away.

Mandy Lott, sales manager for Cannon Kirk Homes said: “It is great to welcome Emily and James to their new home, and it is always a special moment for us all. What’s made it even more special is knowing that two generations of the same family now own Cannon Kirk homes, and we know they will also be very happy there for many years to come.”

The new show home on the Highfields Square development is now available to view for those looking to move to the area. To book a viewing or for more details, visit this link.
