Caistor Yarborough pupils to name streets
With a sprawling new housing development only months from completion in Caistor, local youngsters are already calling it names. That is because pupils at Caistor Yarborough School have been tasked with naming the streets and different houses on a new estate due to be finished early next year on the site of the town's former hospital.
Tim Downing is senior partner for Pygott and Crone in Grimsby and Lincoln, who will be the agents for the development. He said: "Canon Kirk is building a site of 135 houses where the local hospital once stood. "There is going to be a good mix, from two-bedroom starter homes to four-bedroom detached family homes from about £115,000 upwards. "They will have a traditional look but with modern-world efficiency inside. "We hope to launch the site in January or February and we are already taking inquiries."
